Blur have shared the second song from their upcoming eighth album, The Magic Whip — the Britpop band’s first in 12 years. Revealed with a video showing them playing in what appears to be a practice space, “There are Too Many of Us” is a great, if a little morose, song about overpopulation. The track has a somewhat defeatist, march-like feel at times, and it’s less exuberant than the first single, “Go Out.” Give it a listen above. The Magic Whip is set for an April 28 release date, but the band is reportedly playing the whole album at a secret show somewhere in West London tonight.
