After giving a TED Talk, scoring Gia Coppola's Palo Alto, and releasing his own music videos, Blood Orange's Devonté Hynes somehow found the time to not only remix Sia's "Chandelier," but to write and record his own verses for the 1000 Forms of Fear single. The austere, anxious vibe matches that of his Cupid Deluxe LP, adding lots of reverb and a metallic edge to the Aussie hitmaker's vocals. He takes Sia's powerful chorus and subtly buries it in the mix, making the in-your-face original sound more like the singer was screaming at you from the next room over.
