Mark Hoppus has a new bullet point for his resume: talk show host.

The Blink-182 bassist-vocalist has teamed with music TV network Fuse for a new show called A Different Spin with Mark Hoppus, which is slated to premiere this September. The new hour-long variety-esque show — featuring a co-host, which will be announced in the coming weeks — will cover music news, interviews with musicians and celebrities, exclusive performances, tours, and more.

“I am stoked to join the Fuse family and have a show where I can talk about a topic that I’m passionate about, music,” Hoppus said in a statement. “More importantly, I’m excited to force millions of people to watch me on a weekly basis on national television.”

While you await the show’s premiere this fall, check out Hoppus’ SPIN.com music column, Hopp On Pop, in which the rocker selects his favorite new bands for SPIN readers.

And in other Blink news, Hoppus blogged an update on the band’s summer tour here.
