Blink-182 Play First Show Without Tom DeLonge

Blink-182

On Wednesday night, Blink-182 played their first concert since Tom DeLonge apparently quit the band (depending on who you ask). In his place at the Roxy in West Hollywood was Matt Skiba, frontman for Alkaline Trio. Along with Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker, the new trio played a 24-song set list (which you can see below), including the first live performance of Enema of the State‘s “Wendy Clear” since 2004 (via Consequence of Sound).

As you can hear in the (decent) quality videos of the show some fans shot, Skiba held his own. He’s playing with them again at Costa Mesa’s Musink Music and Tattoo Festival this weekend. Skiba’s future with Blink-182 after this tour is over isn’t clear yet — he’s touring with Alkaline Trio later this year, but Blink drummer Travis Barker expressed an interest in possibly recording an album with him at some point.

Check out “Down” above, and “Dysentery Gary” and “Going Away to College” below, followed by the full set list.
