The Ozzman Goeth: A Guide to Black Sabbath’s Non-Ozzy Albums

On June 11, we’ll be blessed with the release of 13, Black Sabbath’s first album featuring lead vocals from Ozzy Osbourne in 35 years. But it’s not as if Sabbath were lounging in a coffin during the intervening decades. Sandwiched between 1978’s Never Say Die and the new effort are a host of albums headed up by a motley crew of lead vocalists, including metal god Ronnie James Dio (pictured above holding a plate of what looks like overcooked pasta). With guitarist Tony Iommi as our lone constant companion, prepare to wade into some very turbulent, Tony Martin-heavy waters.
