Black Lips have a new video and it's about as NSFW as you can get. No surprise considering the thing is directed by the ATL Twins (of Spring Breakers fame) and Matt Swinsky, who's positioned himself as the documentary lover's Harmony Korine. For the above "Boys in the Wood" clip, that trio wrangles a team of professional dirtbags to do what they do best: piss on each other, fight like caged animals, freebase all kinds of poisons, and even stage scenes of murder and rape. The Lips' Jared Swilley is the victim of that latter brutality, though he reappears later fully clothed to smash his guitar from within a blazing fire. "When the boys start to drinking / You know it ain't no good / Ain't gonna live for tomorrow / You know you never should." Hopefully everyone involved will at least see enough tomorrows to reach March 18, when Black Lips' Underneath the Rainbow is released via Vice.
