Björk is bringing Biophilia to the big screen. On April 26, the Tribeca Film Festival will debut a concert film titled, simply enough, Björk: Biophilia Live. The movie captures a concert at London’s Alexandra Palace circa the titular 2011 album. There is a website and a pretty poster and everything. The LP-turned-app-turned-flick was directed and edited by Peter Strickland (Berberian Sound Studio) and Nick Fenton (Arctic Monkeys at the Apollo). Revisit Biophilia-era video for “Mutual Core” and “Hollow,” and also that wild Death Grips remix of “Sacrifice.” Björk’s last filmic venture was a documentary about the relationship between music, nature, and technology. Billboard reports that this year’s Tribeca will also include films about Nas, James Brown, and Bob Weir, amongst others.
