Beta Frontiers originated as a living-room home studio experiment for progenitor Michael Butler, but projects like 2012's …. EP are well-crafted enough to belie those lo-fi origins. Latest single "Undone Things" encapsulates the Toronto pet project's pulsating electro-pop, with a house backbeat that's built up by lush synths reminiscent of Starfucker. The track's accompanying video also lets Butler put his '80s influences on full display. The color-washed clip plays like a warped, weirdly grim exercise tape leftover from Richard Simmons' heyday. Watch it above.
