This past Saturday, July 19, throngs of music-hungry fans converged on San Francisco, CA's Shoreline Ampitheatre for the 2008 Download Festival to have their craving satiated by sets from Yeasayer, Cut Copy, MuteMath, Gang of Four, and the Jesus and Mary Chain, among others. SPIN.com's Peter Gaston sat down for a chat with seminal dance-punkers Gang of Four's Andy Gill and Jon King before they took the stage; watch Peter talk with the duo about their process on their forthcoming full-length (their first of original material since 1995's Shrinkwrapped), as well as their newly released single, "Second Life."
