Officials for Seattle's 38th annual Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival have unveiled the initial lineup for the always eclectic and family friendly event, and it already appears a trip to the Emerald City is in order. Beck, reunited alt-rockers Stone Temple Pilots, Neko Case, the Walkmen, Dan Deacon, !!!, Del Tha Funky Homosapien, Blitzen Trapper, John Vanderslice, Final Fantasy, M. Ward, the Fall of Troy, Arthur & Yu, and Wreckless Eric highlight the festival's bill, which will hit Seattle's city centre with full force Labor Day Weekend, Aug. 30-Sept. 1.

Also billed for the event: Lucinda Williams, Jakob Dylan, and Lee "Scratch" Perry, among others. Additional music performers will be announced in the coming weeks.

And as usual, fans can feast their senses on far more than just music, for guest speakers and performances spanning the arts, including dance, poetry, visual, and literary arts, as well as comedy acts, will be offered to Bumbershoot festivalgoers.

Regular admission three-day passes are on sale now via Bumbershoot.org for $80 (!), and single-day tickets will be available for purchase beginning July 15.
