Hear Beach Day's Carefree 'Don't Call Me on the Phone'

Florida crew's 'Native Echoes' LP arrives on August 19

Florida's Beach Day combined surf-punk grit and vintage pop hooks to great effect on their 2013 debut album, Trip Trap Attack. On August 19, the summer-worshipping outfit — made up of core members Kimmy Drake (vocals, guitar) and Skyler Black (drums) — will release their follow-up effort, Native Echoes, through Kanine Records. The upcoming, 10-track LP includes "Don't Call Me on the Phone," a woozy swooner that embodies the project's breezy romanticism. Dial into "Don't Call Me on the Phone" above, and pre-order Native Echoes through Kanine Records.
