Preemptively perusing the festival grounds one day prior to their set, Minneapolis’ Tapes ‘n Tapes stopped through the SPIN.com tent for brief chat following a super-brief 20 minute flight to Chicago out of their hometown. Speaking with Josh Grier and Matt Kretzman, we got the lowdown on the band’s plans to record a new album for an early 2008 release and on their participation in projects to support local, independent radio stations.
