Babyshambles Sign with Parlophone

Pete Doherty's band have signed with a new label and plan to record a new EP.

Almost four months after their deal with Rough Trade "expired," Babyshambles have signed with a new record label, Parlophone's Regal, also home to cheeky British songstress Lily Allen. The band are set to start recording a new album, The Blinding EP, which will be released in November. "We are looking forward to making a great record with Babyshambles," the label told NME.com. Back in May, Rough Trade told SPIN.com the band's deal with the label ended because they hadn't "seen [Doherty] and therefore [had] not had an opportunity to renegotiate."
