Azealia Banks may not be sweating her reputation as an artist with five times as many Twitter beefs as notable tracks, but her label might be. Banks — the Harlem rapper who has spent a good portion of the year getting in fights with people, including Perez Hilton, Angel Haze, and various A$AP Rocky associates — tweeted, then deleted, that she is being forced to relinquish her Twitter password. She didn’t specify to whom, and has yet to make any mentions of the tweets being deleted. She used Twitter to RT a fan less than an hour ago.
Banks is currently promoting her new single “Yung Rapunxel,” which has proved to be her most successful since “212.” The video has crossed one million in views in a few days and has begun to hit the pop charts in Australia and the United Kingdom.
Her debut album Broke With Expensive Taste currently has no release date.
