  • Axl Rose is in the early stage of a new Guns 'N' Roses record, according to touring guitarist DJ Ashba, who promises it won't take as long as Chinese Democracy to release new music. "Axl has a lot of good shit up his sleeves," says Ashba. [Rock It Out! Blog]

  • Dave Grohl, Josh Homme, and John Paul Jones' supergroup Them Crooked Vultures are planning to release a new album next year. The album will include leftover material from their self-titled debut.
