Axl Rose has been bottled on Guns N' Roses' current European tour supporting Chinese Democracy, and now he has been robbed. Just days after Kanye West did battle with a laser-pointer-wielding fan during his show with Jay-Z in the City of Light, Rose was relieved of $200,000 worth of jewelry, likely not by a GN'R fan who hasn't accepted the frontman's apology for bailing on his band's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. At a post-concert "private gathering" last night, three of Axl's gold-and-diamond chains were stolen. Though local police say he didn't appear to actually be wearing the necklaces at the party at all, the theft has left the frontman "fuming," per the AP. Let's strike a deal, France: We'll stop sending overzealous Jim Morrison fans to your cemetery if you knock off the assault on mouthy American performers.
UPDATE: RTL reports (via Blabbermouth) that the chains have been recovered. An unidentified model turned them, and herself, in to the police precinct in Paris' First Arrondissement after waking up to find them in her purse. Apparently, she drank too much at the soirée and had swiped them "by accident," only realizing the gaffe when "she woke up around lunchtime." Maybe she used to get up on time?
