Arrest Warrant Issued for DMX

An arrest warrant was issued for DMX on Wednesday (June 28) after he failed to show up in court to answer to a number of driving-related charges. “We have granted him a number of courtesies,” said White Plains City Court Judge Barbara Leak, who had already granted the rapper two postponements. “It ends now.” DMX’s lawyer, Stacey Murray, insisted her client had flown to New York from Arizona for the court date but fell ill and couldn’t make it, according to the AP. DMX’s driving infractions incurred in the last year include driving without a seatbelt or a license, speeding, and driving on the shoulder of a major highway.
