Ariana Grande has recently turned to the more electronic side of pop for singles like "Bang Bang," "Break Free," and "Problem," but the big-voiced singer gets back to her roots on new single "Best Mistake," a brand new taste of her upcoming second album, My Everything, due August 25.

The sultry R&B song is classic Grande, eshcewing any of the bells and whistles that she's fond of, instead focusing entirely on her carefully sung vocals and the quiet piano line in the song's background. Big Sean, a frequent Grande collaborator (see: "Problem" and "Right There"), shows up for a verse in which he raps about family and relationships, rhyming things like "I guess time's wasting / tick tocking / lips locking." You can judge his verse for yourself by streaming the track below.
