Arcade Fire Make Acting Debut on ‘SNL’

The Arcade Fire, the latest alums of Saturday Night Live, weren’t content with just playing “Intervention” and “Keep the Car Running” when they were the musical guests during last weekend’s sketch comedy show. Sure, the members of the indie collective only shared one line, but they synchronously advocated that a human resources department be canned in the wake of departmental cutbacks (for a business run by a turkey sub, a straightjacketed employee and one named “Captain Pajama Shark,” a mounted tiger head, and an invisible man, no less) with the aplomb of Hollywood vets.
