Virtuosic MPC-destroyer shows off his impressive range

Fresh off his MPC-pummeling appearance at SPIN's CMJ party, AraabMuzik has surprised fans with a darkly dance-oriented song, "After Hours." He shared the new one via SoundCloud — where you can also find recent drop "Runway Bass" and his remix of "Never Say Die" by SPIN cover stars Sleigh Bells — at about the same time Pitchfork TV debuted Styles P's gritty Muzik-produced "Araab Styles." The ratchet-ass video for that creatively titled track can be seen below. The producer's range and influence are broad indeed — AraabMuzik has his own entry in the Animal Collective Centipedia, and recently linked with Danny Brown for an impromptu live rendition of the XXX rapper's "Molly Ringwald."
