Anti-Flag's Anti-Everything Video

Hey, This Is Awesome!

These punk-pop vets from Pennsylvania have been around for over a decade, but that hasn't tempered their politically charged messages. On "$1 Trillion Dollar$" from their seventh album, For Blood and Empire, the quartet sing about what the gargantuan quantity of money could buy. They start with the benign: "One trillion dollars could buy a lot of bling / One trillion dollars could by most anything," before quickly launching into numerous more malignant uses for the dough: "One trillion dollars buying bullets, buying guns / One trillion dollars in the hands of killer thugs." The video follows an equally dire path, as it begins with a little girl in bed as her mother tucks her in. The last shot, though, finds the daughter signing up for the military at the insistence of her mother and an Army recruiter. You won't believe what happens next!
