Angels & Airwaves Bassist Ousted

Angels & Airwaves bassist Ryan Sinn, formerly of punk rock outfit the Distillers, has been kicked out of Tom DeLonge’s post-blink-182 project, and evidently has been for nearly one month, MTV.com reports. “I received a phone call the evening of April 19 that concluded my relationship with Angels & Airwaves,” Sinn confirmed to Army of Angels, the band’s official membership only fan club. “All I’ll say as to why I was kicked out, the reasons I was given weren’t at all honest, and severely hypocritical to the point of abhorrent disgust.” Sinn, responding to rumors circulating regarding motivations for his departure, claims, “I would never leave a band because of a clash of ideas, or control. To me a band is a clash of ideas and control.” No word if Sinn and these homeless rockers will team for a goth and emo pop semi-super group.
