Norway-bred, Sweden-based singer/songwriter Ane Brun has released the video for "Rubber and Soul" off A Temporary Dive. The clip zooms in on Brun's angelic visage as she revolves slowly around a fixed point, as if she were sitting on a record player. The angle pans out to focus on her silken sweater, which comes alive with a paper doll-like animated child falling into a turbulent, water-colored aquatic scene. Brun and collaborator Teitur beautifully harmonize about rubber bands holding a soul together, and when Brun sings that those bands no longer border the heart, the child in the video climbs out of the waters back onto safer footing.
