British R&B sensation Amy Winehouse, notorious for her rampant outbursts, tongue-lashed the Kooks' frontman Luke Pritchard during a TV recording of British variety show Later with Jools Holland, U.K.'s The Mirror reports. Pritchard, who claims he approached Winehouse to compliment her newest album, was subjected to a harsh backlash witnessed by a studio audience and show guests, including Paul Weller.

"All I said to her was that I enjoyed her latest album. And suddenly, out of the blue, she had a really massive go at me," Pritchard told The Mirror. "At one point she told me to fucking pull my head out of my arse. It was really weird. Everyone was just standing around looking at her...she's crackers." But Pritchard takes the verbal assault in stride, "I still think she's great...she's got an amazing voice."
