Alkaline Trio to Head Back to the Studio in Early 2007

The band have signed with V2 Records to release the follow-up to 2005's Crimson.

Alkaline Trio, who are currently writing songs for their seventh album in their hometown of Chicago, are eyeing an early 2007 return to the studio. After leaving their label home of five years, Vagrant Records, the band have signed with V2 Records (Moby, Raconteurs, Sugarcult), which will release the follow-up to 2005's Crimson. "We are proud to be working with V2 and already feel very much a home on our new label," said singer Matt Skiba. "Yet, we left Vagrant Records on very amicable terms and are very thankful for all they have done for us thus far."
