We've already seen Against Me! blow through Transgender Dysphoria Blues at Music Hall of Williamsburg, and caught lead singer Laura Jane Grace during her solo acoustic tour last year. But on January 29, the Florida punks made their first late-night appearance in support of their outstanding new album, dropping in on the Late Show With David Letterman to showcase wistful chest-thumper "FUCKMYLIFE666." Grace delivered a thrilling, full-throated vocal performance, demanding answers from a national television audience. "Are things made to be destroyed?" she asked during the arena-punk anthem. "Are moments meant to pass?"

Watch the clip above, and be sure to read SPIN's recent interview with Grace about Transgender Dysphoria Blues and her struggle with the titular condition: Laura Jane Grace on the Tortured Path to 'Transgender Dysphoria Blues.'
