Aerosmith Schedule Summer Tour

After infighting, addiction and rehab, and reports that the band was replacing singer Steven Tyler, all five original members of Aerosmith are reunited and “Cocked, Locked, and Ready to Rock” fans in the good ol’ U.S of A.

The Boston outfit will kick off an 18-stop summer tour on July 23 in Oakland, and hit cities like Las Vegas, Dallas, and Detroit before closing out in Uncasville, CT, on September 4. Along the way, the boys will even drop into their hometown for a previously announced gig at Fenway Park on August 14, which sold out in 23 minutes — a record for the Red Sox’ stadium.

“I thought it was time to get my MOJO back, by rockin’ South America and Europe with a little HOME RUN at Boston’s Fenway Park thrown in and then off to the rest of America to do what we do best!” Steven Tyler said in a statement. “We’re gonna rock you into the middle of next week!”

Added drummer Joey Kramer: “The band’s tighter than ever, America we’re coming to rock your World.”

Sammy Hagar and the Wabos will open select dates of the “Cocked, Locked, and Ready to Rock” summer tour. For more info, visit Aerosmith’s website.Concert tickets go on sale June 4 via Live Nation.
