  • The ever-prolific Ryan Adams has taken a break from writing his own songs to cover Vampire Weekend's tune "Mansard Roof," and he's posted a video of the performance on his Facebook page. "I do it no justice but I love it," he writes. "I sung it imagining being on a dark beach made of diamonds with a darkened night sky full of twinkling sand." Head over to his Facebook Page to watch his stripped-back, acoustic rendition.

  • Guess he wasn't "Always On Time" after all. On July 18, rapper Ja Rule was sentenced in a New Jersey court to 28 months in prison for failing to pay tax returns over a five-year period.
