2 Chainz is so in demand that he never had a chance to go away before recording a new album — instead his new material will have to blend into rap and R&B radio, where his voice is still overwhelmingly dominant. First up is "Feds Watching," a collaboration with Pharrell that will lead 2 Chainz' forthcoming album, which is untitled but will (tentatively) drop on September 10. The track features a bit of a different vibe for one-time Tity Boi — Skateboard P's bouncy beat is a bit brighter than what we typically hear from 2 Chainz, though the squealing guitar gives it a noticeable edge.

Chainz most recently dropped a verse on Major Lazer's "Bubble Butt" and in April put on one of the most memorable sets at Coachella.
