Watch Pharrell Play Hypeman to 2 Chainz in Triumphant ‘Feds Watching’ Kimmel Performance

2 Chainz, one chain, one Pharrell

Last night, 2 Chainz hit Jimmy Kimmel Live to perform “Feds Watching,” the lead single from his new album B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time, which is out this coming Tuesday (September 10). In tow was Pharrell, the resurgent hitmaker who made roughly his third appearance on Kimmel in the year’s first nine months (the other two: “Blurred Lines” with Robin Thicke and his own “Happy”). The performance was standard as these things go — maybe you prefer “Feds Watching” with help from the Roots? — but there are a few important things to note concerning 2 Chainz’s fashion. First, he was wearing the T-shirt version of his instantly iconic DONDA-designed dual-chained album cover. Secondly, he was wearing only one chain, so if your world feels slightly askew today, that’s probably why.
