When: April 4, 2009
Who: Inductees Metallica (who brought along ex-bassist Jason Newsted), were joined by fellow honoree Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Joe Perry, Flea and Ron Wood for a corpse-stiff run-through of the old blues chestnut, "Train Kept A-Rollin'" — made famous by the Yardbirds. On this night, the Train lurched and sputtered to a crawl.
As embarrassing as: Watching an adult perform armpit farts.
