Watch Papa Roach Eat Actual Insects

In 2000, Papa Roach sold three million copies of their debut album Infest and appeared on the cover of Spin. In 2017, they’ve appeared on camera for First We Feast to eat actual insects, in a video where the predictability of the scenario is nonetheless very amusing.

Did you know insects are healthy for you, and the thinking man predicts they’ll become a crucial food source for our increasingly resource-deprived planet? I did not, but now I do, after watching the helpful explainer from Bugible’s Aly Moore. The boys behind “Last Resort” now know it, too, as FWF host Sean Evans prods them to eat crickets, june bugs, scorpions, and more. (They’re dead and cooked, don’t worry.)

“Eat it, Jacoby,” he insists. Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix, whose band is releasing a new record, has no choice but to comply.

They don’t eat actual roaches, sadly, but it’s still a fun video. Watch it below. Papa Roach’s new record, Crooked Teeth, is out on May 19.
