For reasons that remain somewhat opaque, Friday is 1994 Day at BBC Radio 6. To celebrate, they brought in Ryan Adams to perform an acoustic cover of a ’94 classic, Bruce Springsteen‘s “Streets of Philadelphia.” (Adams, by the way, formed his alt-country band Whiskeytown in 1994.)
