The Independent Spirit Awards, held the day before the Oscars, got that scenario last night as the comedian did an in-character performance of Pearl Jam‘s “Alive.” The sequence was as hilarious as it was educational: Yes, Tim Allen and Best Actor nominee Viggo Mortensen are still alive.
