Michelle Obama’s final talk show appearance as First Lady successfully booked more talent than the entirety of Donald Trump’s inauguration week, starting with musical guest Stevie Wonder, a close friend of the outgoing First Family. On Wednesday night’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Wonder and the Roots honored Obama with one chorus of “Isn’t She Lovely” and a special version of “My Cherie Amour,” with lyrics changed to “my Michelle amour.” (Another sample lyric: “You’ll always be First Lady in our lives.”)
Obama also played a round of “Catchphrase” with Dave Chappelle and Jerry Seinfeld, and joined Fallon to write some humorous yet tasteful thank-you notes. Watch all three clips below.
