Four years, two albums, and a sprawling number of EPs and split releases to their name, Sorority Noise have come a long way from their Connecticut origins. The whiny voice that once defined Young Luck and Forgettable has now found a stronger presence as they’ve grown from regional heroes into emo icons. The opening track from their forthcoming album You’re Not As____ As You Think, “No Halo” starts with a stutter of palm-muted chords as frontman Cam Boucher sings about trying to keep composed through a friend’s funeral. The album will be released on March 17th via Triple Crown Records, and the act will head out on tour in support of the record with Modern Baseball later that month. Check out the single below.
