Timothy Showalter’s fiery folk-rock outfit Strand of Oaks is preparing a fifth full-length album, Hard Love, arriving February 17. We’ve already heard the aching “Radio Kids,” and today Strand of Oaks return with a new song, “Rest of It.” It’s a tear-’em-up rock ‘n’ roller with a VHS-fi video featuring Showalter and a few friends smoking, bar-hopping, and fooling around.
