If you’re stacking up on late-night techno cuts, make room for Time Wasting, a new collaborative EP from Shaded & Harvard Bass. In the works for about a year now, the four-track affair drops on January 20. We’re treated today with the release’s first taste, the original mix of “Mental Fade.”
“I think it’s dope and unique. When I hear it back, I can hear what we’re all about at the time we were making it and I like that,” Harvard Bass told Shaded in a conversation posted to the blog Music is 4 Lovers. The collaboration comes out of Southern California, where the two artists live, and will be released via Twin Turbo, the digital-only sub-label of Tiga’s Turbo Recordings. The full EP features remixes by both Cassy and Kenny Glasgow.
