Alex G played at Run for Cover’s Something In the Way Fest on Wednesday, and it looks like he debuted a new song at the end of his set. It’s a joyous and fun tune that includes a long, erratic solo of what sounds like car alarms and clashes coming from a keyboard. This hints that there may soon be a followup to 2015’s excellent Beach Music, which landed at No. 10 on SPIN’s list of the 50 Best Albums of 2015.
