New Music: Stream J. Cole’s Featureless 4 Your Eyez Only

J. Cole’s 4 Your Eyez Only, his followup to 2014’s 2014 Forest Hills Drive, is finally out. The anticipation has been building for the past week after the project randomly appeared on iTunes for pre-order. The next day, Cole released the 40-minute documentary Eyez, which was mostly notable for featuring a perceived Kanye West diss on a track called “False Prophets.”

This new record comes with lofty expectations after the success of 2014 Forest Hills Drive. Many praised that effort for its socially conscious themes, but Drive also got massive props for going double platinum with no featured guests. The achievement quickly became a parody of itself, thanks to social media.
