Fred Armisen, who has a reputation, is now singing songs for KFC, which makes bad chicken. The SNL vet has recorded two jingles for the chain under the name KFC’s Nashville Colonel and His Fabulous Band. For the dedicated Armisen/KFC supporters out there, 125 lathe-covered vinyl 12″ copies of “C-O-L-O-N-E-L” and “Nashville-Centric Boogie” have been distributed to 12 record stores around the country; for more casual fans of songs commissioned by fast food giants and recorded by comedians, the tunes are also available online.
