FKA twigs’ excursions into the visual arts continue with her new short-ish film, Soundtrack 7. Described as an “abstract autobiographical piece,” the 35-minute movie features dance performances from her 2015 residency at Manchester’s Old Granada Studios. Soundtrack 7 comes with the launch of a new website, which archives her work. “[T]his is a creative project in itself so please explore,” she said on Instagram.
Soundtrack 7 follows up last week’s Baltimore Dance Project, a short documentary featuring footage from her free Baltimore workshop from this past summer. Watch twigs’ latest release below.
