The Trailer for Luc Besson’s Sci-Fi Epic Valerian Is Scored by The Beatles, Features Rihanna

Ready to watch movies speculating about a future that President Donald Trump doesn’t factor into? You’ve got some good possibilities coming up in the next year—first, Denis Villeneuve’s alien-occupation epic Arrival this weekend, and now, Luc Besson’s Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (an adaptation of a popular French comics series) which is slated for a July 21st, 2017 release date. The first trailer for the film was released by EuropaCorp today.

Besson’s films have always had their champions and major detractors—the man, after all, made The Fifth Element and the deeply silly psychokinesis thriller Lucy—but this one looks pretty fun, at least visually. The film stars Cara Delevingne (coming off her unfortunate stint as a mostly-CGI witch in Suicide Squad) Dane DeHaan, and a bunch of aliens who look like rejects from concept art for the Star Wars prequels.

Rihanna also has a small role in the film, and you can see her for a glorious second at 1:19:
