Nelly Furtado just released “Pipe Dreams,” the mid-tempo new single from her upcoming album The Ride. The song, which premiered over at Fader, features spacious, contemporary production for its first three quarters, then opens up for a surprisingly gospel-tinged coda anchored by an organ solo.

The Ride, Furtado’s first full-length since 2012’s The Spirit Indestructible, was produced by John Congleton, and will be released March 3. Late last year, Furtado collaborated with Dev Hynes, a.k.a. Blood Orange, on “Hadron Collider,” a cassette single that was later released on Blood Orange’s 2016 album, Freetown SoundListen to “Pipe Dreams” below.
