Last month, French Montana canceled his upcoming album MC4 (short for Mac & Cheese 4) after encountering sample clearance issues, leaks, and at least one Target store that accidentally stocked the CD on its original release date. Saturday night, French changed his mind, premiering the project as a mixtape via Drake’s OVO Sound Radio show on Beats 1.
MC4 features the earlier single “No Shopping” with Drake, as well as features from Kanye West, Nas, A$AP Rocky, Miguel, Jeezy, and Kodak Black. Despite a tweet from French Montana indicating that the album would be available on iTunes and Spotify, it does not currently appear on those services. Listen below via DatPiff.
