Video: Wyclef Jean Plays Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, and Bernie Sanders in “If I Was President 2016”

Wyclef Jean is getting some additional mileage out of his 2004 single “President” this election season. Earlier this month, he released an updated version of the song, “If I Was President 2016,” with lyrics about Black Lives Matter, Hillary Clinton, and Donald Trump. The newly released music video, which doubles as a Funny or Die skit, features Jean in three Oval Office personas: a cheerful, weed-smoking Clinton, an angry Trump, and a sleepy Bernie Sanders.

The former Fugees rapper also appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert last night to perform the updated song, which he opened with a quick verse about his unsuccessful 2010 run for president of Haiti.

“If I Was President 2016” is expected to appear on Jean’s J’ouvert EP, now due out on November 18, by which time this whole thing will finally be over. Watch the Funny or Die and Colbert clips below.
