Cass McCombs has shared a laidback video for “Laughter Is the Best Medicine,” a daydreamy song from his most recent album, Mangy Love. Directed by Andrew Costigan, the clip opens with words from New Orleans spiritual figure Reverend Goat Carson, and goes on to feature a wide range of images: scenic hillsides, parades, a salad, Chelsea Manning. It’s quite a departure from the high-fidelity, porn-inspired video for “Medusa’s Outhouse.” Watch below.
