The xx Will Tour Soon and Are Working on a New Album

The xx are planning a return to the road. Four years after their sophomore album, Coexist, and three years after their most recent tour, the Brits just posted on Facebook to announce a new slate of shows and that they’re working on a third album. The caveat here is that none of the scheduled shows—which include 2017 stops at South America Lollapalooza and Colombia’s Festival Estereo Picnic—are in the States.

Although they’ve been on hiatus in between records for a little bit, the xx members haven’t strayed that far apart over these past four years. Romy Madley Croft and Oliver Sim both made appearances on Jamie xx’s debut solo album, 2015’s stunning In Colour. Give the tour dates a look below.
