Hot on the heels of the announcement of The Flaming Lips’s seventeenth album Oczy Mlody, Wayne Coyne appears to be taking some time out to dabble in mash-up composition. On his Instagram today, the Tulsa psych-rock icon teased a minute of his A$AP Rocky’s “Electric Body” and Tame Impala’s “New Person, Same Old Mistakes” mash-up while bobbing his head vigorously and wearing a smiley-face choker. According to the caption, Coyne seems to be preparing the track for the Lips’ upcoming Halloween party in Oklahoma City.

In another post of Coyne’s from two days ago, you can also hear what sounds like a wonky Kanye West “Monster” remix in progress. Interesting choices, Wayne! Watch the clips below.

Party gonna be cool!!! @wombgallery Saturday Night!!!! Tickets at link in bio!!!
