Multi-instrumentalist indie rocker Ted Leo has recorded a jubilant rendition of David Bowie’s “Heroes” for Let All The Children Boogie: A Tribute To David Bowie, an “all-ages” covers compilation. Record label Spare The Rock, Spoil The Child conceived the record as a way to introduce Bowie to kids of the next generation. The album’s proceeds will go to the It Gets Better project, a non-profit aimed at helping struggling LGBTQ youth.
